[1] Although this name is given as "LeComte de Beri" in Dana H. Carroll, Catalogue of Objects of Fine Art and Other Properties at the Home of William Andrews Clark, 962 Fifth Avenue. Part II. Unpublished manuscript, n.d. (1925): 222, the name is likely Comte du Barry, although which exactly which Frenchman with this title has not yet been identified.
