Cruce la frontera por Tijuana / Tenía ocho años y estaba escapándome de la guerra civil, mis padres contrataron a un coyote para que me traiga a los Estados Unidos. Fui de persona a persona, viajamos en carro, tren y caminamos. / Hubo mucha gente maravillosa que me cuidó en el camino. Cuando llegué a California mi familia extendida me llevó al aeropuerto y fui en avión a JFK en NY donde me reencontré con mis / Padres que no habia visto en años. En ese vuelo recuerdo recuerdo una aeromoza que fue muy cariñosa. ¿No me imagino lo que debe haber pensado de mi.? Todavía recuerdo su / ternura y el cariño que me dio. Donde sea que estés, bendiciones a ti mujer voladora mágica. – G. M.
[After traveling for two and a half months by land from El Salvador, through Honduras, Guatemala and Mexico I finally reached the United States ??. I crossed the border through Tijuana / I was eight years old traveling by myself escaping the civil war, my parents hired coyotes to bring me to the United States. I went from person to person, we traveled by car, trains and we walked. / I had a lot of wonderful people take care of me along the way. When I reached California I had extended family take me to the airport and I flew to JFK in NY where I reconnected with my / parents that I had not seen in years. On that flight I remember this particular flight attendant, she was very caring. I can’t imagine what she must have thought of me? I still remember her / wholesomeness and the affection she gave me.
