[1] During the liquidation sale of the dealer Curt Valentin's gallery and personal collection, Mr. Zimmermann exchanged, in return for the maquette, Henry Moore's colored drawing titled Sketch for Reclining Figures. The maquette was on consignment to the New York dealer Harold Diamond from January to April 1967, when it was returned to Mr. Zimmermann, who died in August of that year.
