Antonio Badile II [1424 - 1507/1512], Verona, his descendents; probably Ludovico Moscardo (in the so-called Moscardo album) (Lugt 2990b), by descent to Mario Miniscalchi Erizzo [1881-1957], Verona; Francis Matthiesen Gallery, London (1954); the private financier of hte Matthiesen purchase chose this drawing for himself in partial repayment; (sale, London, Christie's, 6 July 1982, lot 20); purchased by Ian Woodner, New York; by inheritance to his daughters, Andrea and Dian Woodner, New York, 1990; gift to NGA, 2014.
