What Happens if Two Complete Strangers Draw Each Other?

DrawTogether Strangers is a global portrait project by artist Wendy MacNaughton that connects strangers through the simple act of looking and drawing, two people at a time. With a simple, and arguably magical, drawing exercise, we can rewire our brains into SEEING one another again. All it takes is 60 seconds, some paper and pens, and two strangers. Most days, we go to work, navigate traffic, and are generally trying to just get things done. With cell phones, streaming media, and everything else in the world seemingly vying for our attention, we also don’t see each other anymore. Fear not, there exists a sophisticated tool to help us pay attention and connect with people we might otherwise avoid or ignore. It’s called a pen.
